The Dropbys are a group of people who don't live in the muse house, but tend to drop in for important events, like the Docs' birthday or special holidays. Most of them are the girlfriends of the various muses and submuses.

NoTrilDoc:
-->Gypsy Robinson: A redheaded psychologist with glasses, Gypsy made her debut in the NonTrilogy universe as the woman who helped Doc and Marty get over the worst of their Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder after their experiences with Jack. Somehow, she developed a crush on Doc, so I had her and him hook up years later in the NonTrilogy universe. Much to her mother's chagrin, it must be said. . . . She's quite intelligent and can be as stubborn as a mule when she wants to be. She's completely normal.

VampDoc:
-->Mysteria "Mystie" Jones: A black-haired, pale-skinned woman, Mystie appeared in the first Vampire Doc Chronicle as Doc's girlfriend. She met Doc at a costume party, and they were dating when Doc was attacked by a soulless vampire and infected. She nursed him through his change, rescued him from an early grave, and helped Doc and his friends fight off Biff and his minions. She's a generally sweet-natured girl who isn't afraid to get down and dirty. She's a vampire like VampDoc.

VampDoc2:
-->Josephine "Josie" Grey: A blond-haired woman, Josie appeared in "World of Darkness" as Doc's new roommate at Southdale Sanitarium. She fell in love with Doc at first sight, and after a few days, Doc reciprocated her feelings. She changed him to get him out of Southdale, then ran afoul of the ECT machine and was nearly cremated. She recovered, adopted Hell Valley's Jennifer, then eventually met up with Doc (and his new ward Marty) again. The four eventually formed a happy family. Josie is nice, but a little on the obsessive side and not afraid to turn violent if necessary. She's a vampire like VampDoc2.

DocWolf:
-->GypsyFox: A foxmorph of Gypsy Robinson. She's a traditional red fox, with bright red fur, black markings on her muzzle and paws, and a white tail tip. She also has Gypsy's red hair, green eyes, and glasses.
-->JenniferCat: A catmorph of Jennifer Parker, and MartyFox's girlfriend. She's a light brown tabby with Jennifer's brown hair and eyes.

OckDoc:
-->VenomClara Clayton: A version of Clara Clayton who found a Venom-type symbiote and bonded with it. The symbiote generally masquerades as her clothes. She'll appear in the next installment of the OckDocumentary, "There's Always Tomorrow." She generally looks like a normal Clara -- when she's in Venom Mode, she looks like a female version of Venom with long brown hair.

TeenDoc:
-->ConstructClara Clayton: A version of Clara who was created from the corpses of two girls who died of diptheria. She first appeared in "Boy Genius" when the group stumbled up on Sturmhalten and had to run from the creatures who had infested the place. ConstructClara saved Emmett's life by getting him across a ravine. She looks like a teenage version of Clara with a lot of stitching and scars across her face and body.
-->JenniferStrike Parker: A version of Jennifer who was modified by her Mad Scientist father. JenniferStrike has the Lady Deathstrike claws as seen in X-Men 2, in steampunk form (i.e., they're powered by gears). She'll appear in the possible sequel to "Boy Genius," "Boy Genius 2: Back To Weird Science."

RolePlayDoc:
-->DeadClara Clayton: A version of Clara who ended up falling into the ravine. This is because the characters of the BTTF RPG never got around to saving her. She appears as a ghostly, spectral green Clara covered in bruises. She also has the ability to spin her head around, since her neck was broken in her fall.

HatterDoc:
-->Clara Alice Clayton: A version of Clara who fell down a rabbit hole and ended up in Wonderland. She and HatterDoc fell in love, and Clara Alice decided to stay. She appears as a regular Clara Clayton who wears a yellow, more adult version of the classic Alice In Wonderland dress. (And yes, Clara was the White Rabbit in "Marty In Wonderland," but HatterDoc comes from a slightly switched AU of that world.)

Tie-Twister Victor:
-->Victoria Everglot: Victor's arranged fiance from Corpse Bride. A sweet and shy girl, Victoria has a secret spine of steel when it comes to helping those she loves. She has a fondness for flowers, such as forget-me-nots and winter jasmine. She generally appears in her red-striped dress.
-->Emily "The Corpse Bride" Cartwell: Victor's accidental corpse bride. Emily's rather headstrong and a bit obsessive about finding true love, but is also very caring and compassionate. She shares Victor's enthusiasm for the piano, and loves dogs. She generally appears in her blue wedding garb. She can also transform into a swarm of butterflies, like she did at the end of the movie.
-->Bonejangles: The jazz musician who was born way too early and now helps keep the Land of the Dead hopping. Bonejangles is a rather close friend to Emily, being the one who generally explains her backstory to anyone who asks (in song, no less). He's become a rather close friend to Victor as well now. He's enthusiastic and absolutely loves performing. He appears as he did in the film -- a skeleton in a bowler hat.
8docs_n_1victor: (Tie-Twister Victor)
Muse Name: Tie-Twister Victor

Fandom: Corpse Bride

In Charge Of: All Non-BTTF related fanfic

Submuses: None

Significant Other: Victoria Everglot/Emily “Corpse Bride” Cartwell (additional dropby: Bonejangles)

Origins: Tie-Twister wasn’t supposed to be a muse. Back in late February of 2007, I suddenly got very much into the movie Corpse Bride. The muses, amused with my new obsession over Victor Van Dort, found a version of him and brought him over to tease me a little. For some reason, though, after the Docs had had their fun, Victor didn’t leave. Instead, he chose to stay in the muse house, sleeping in the Doc’s lab. I ignored him for three solid weeks until I realized he wasn’t going to go away and let him stay on as a muse. I even gave him his own room in the attic. Victor was apparently very grateful for the chance to get away from his parents and happily stayed on to take care of any non-BTTF fic I chose to write.

Personality: Victor’s changed a bit from his canon version since he first came on – he’s still on the quiet and shy side around people he doesn’t know, or his (or Victoria’s) parents, but to his friends he’s revealed a rather large “deadpan snarker” side. He’s also obsessed with cartoons and Jim Carrey, thanks to me getting into The Mask around the same time that he showed up. For all that, though, he’s still a consumate Victorian gentleman, polite and kind to almost everyone. If you get him mad enough, though, you risk having a fork shoved somewhere unpleasant. Even without that, he does “terrifying” disturbingly well. Take it from the author.
As pertains to the Victoria/Emily issue, both girls come and visit him either at the muse house or the Inkwell regularly. Though Victor’s from the end of the movie, he hasn’t actually married Victoria, and genuinely enjoys both her and Emily’s company. Most everyone believes he, Victoria, and Emily are in some sort of threesome – a fact Victor vehemently denies at every opportunity. (Interestingly, Victoria and Emily have never said anything against the idea. . . .)

Distinguishing Marks: Victor appears as he did in the movie – tall, pale, and skinny. He’s actually the tallest of the muses at 6 feet, 3 inches, beating the Docs out by 2 inches. He wears the suit he wore throughout the movie, in its mended state. Of course, being the only non-Doc muse around the place, this is not necessary to recognize him in the least.

Special Abilities: Victor retains the ability to go visit the Land of the Dead whenever he wishes – for some reason, the Ukranian Haunting Spell never wore off him. He returns to his own world by getting a raven’s egg from Elder Gutknecht.
8docs_n_1victor: (HatterDoc)
Muse Name: HatterDoc

Fandom: Back To The Future/Alice In Wonderland

In Charge Of: The Classics Redone fanfics, Humor fanfic, TAS fanfic

Submuses: White Rabbit Marty, March Hare George, Dormouse Jennifer
–>Note: HatterDoc’s the only muse to come with and keep more than two submuses. In addition to the usual Marty and Jennifer, he came with a George in the form of the March Hare. Admittedly, George and Jennifer don’t talk much, but you can always find them at the tea table.

Significant Other: Clara Alice Clayton

Origins: HatterDoc sort of shares an origin with my RP characters Simon and Lucy, in that he was (more or less) inspired by a music video. I came across Tom Petty’s “Don’t Come Around Here No More,” and found myself thinking the clothes he wore – in particular, the purple top hat – would be good for a Hatter version of Doc. Later, when I got into the whole Alice In Wonderland fandom more firmly, I wrote a crossover story detailing Marty’s adventures in a Wonderland staffed by BTTF characters. The plotbunnies for this were so overwhelming that OckDoc commented he was surprised that a HatterDoc hadn’t shown up in the muse house.
Naturally, he appeared right after this announcement and promptly made himself at home. He also resisted all my eviction attempts, declaring himself my Humor muse. Though initially certain I had no more room for muses, I finally caved after a few days and let him stay with his little entourage.

Personality: HatterDoc’s easily the cheeriest of the muses, almost always smiling and offering people cups of tea from his tea table. He seems to consider it his personal mission to make sure the headspace is not buried under doom and gloom. He doesn’t get mad easily, though he’s been known to throw off a few barbs when annoyed. He’s very protective of his friends and their tea table, however, and won’t hesitate to defend them if necessary.

Distinguishing Marks: HatterDoc appears as a Part I 35-year-old Doc, with the curly blond hair. He originally arrived as a 65-year-old Doc, but an accident with the machine that was supposed to return RolePlayDoc to life de-aged him. He liked the change so much he declined being re-aged. His clothing choices are naturally Victorian in nature – he’s generally seen in black pants and a black vest, an orange shirt, a red bow tie, and of course the purple top hat with an orange band. He also has a pet teapot named Bernie – a silver teapot that walks around on six spidery legs – who follows him around a lot.
White Rabbit Marty appears as a large bipedal white rabbit with Marty’s brown hair and blue eyes. He generally wears a pair of white pants and red waistcoat, and he always carries a pocket watch. He also has a human form which looks like a Part I Marty, wearing a pair of blue pants, a white shirt, a blue and white windbreaker, and a white apron over everything (see Special Abilities).
March Hare George appears as a large bipedal brown hare with teenage George’s black hair and light brown eyes. He generally wears a light blue shirt with a darker blue vest and a blue tie, and yellow shorts. He also has a pair of black, square-framed glasses which he wears for reading.
Dormouse Jennifer appears as a large bipedal dormouse with Jennifer’s brown hair and eyes. She wears a white blouse, blue vest, and flowered skirt. She also spends most of her time asleep.

Special Abilities: HatterDoc and his submuses are all from Wonderland, which means the normal laws of logic and physics don’t apply to them. In particular, HatterDoc’s hat functions as a hammerspace in which he can store anything he desires. He also can speak in smilies and emoticons. He shares TeenDoc’s reality-warping invention talent – for example, he’s motorized his tea table.
White Rabbit Marty also has the ability to shapeshift, as a result of the machine that was supposed to restore RolePlayDoc to life. An initial test run turned all the furry muses human – after that was fixed, it was discovered White Rabbit Marty retained the ability to shift between forms. His clothes shift as well, to an outfit more like the one Marty wears in “Marty In Wonderland.” (It’s unknown whether March Hare George or Dormouse Jennifer also have this ability – if they do, they don’t use it.)
8docs_n_1victor: (RolePlayDoc)
Muse Name: RolePlayDoc

Fandom: A Back To The Future RPG

In Charge Of: The Sims 2 stories, the RP characters

Submuses: RolePlayMarty
–>Note: RolePlayDoc originally didn’t have a submuse. As Marty was played by someone else, I didn’t feel comfortable having him in the headspace. I instead had RPD communicate with the game Marty via walkie-talkie watches. After a long while, though, I started to feel bad he didn’t have a Marty on-site. I decided to create a Marty of my own with the same memory and brought him into the headspace shortly after MuseicalMarty of the RP characters was rejected from Beyond the Rift.

Significant Other: DeadClara Clayton

Origins: RolePlayDoc actually started out as an RPG character himself. On one of the BTTF message boards I visit, someone started up a BTTF roleplaying thread. I decided to go ahead and take on the role of Doc. The thread itself was a lot of fun and involved doing a lot of major damage to the timeline of the movies. Near the end, though, it took a rather dramatic turn, what with Marty getting stuck in the future and Doc getting captured by one of the groups of time travelers chasing them. The leader of said time travelers turned out to be his unfairly-committed self from Hell Valley. I’d been reading some rather depressing comics at the time, and I decided to have a beaten-down Doc commit suicide in a desperate attempt to save the space-time continuum. I fully expected someone to travel through time and stop him.
Except that – the founder of the thread stopped the roleplay right afterwards. And due to an argument between him and some of the other players, it was never restarted. Cue the Doc character I had created showing up to haunt my headspace, rather upset. After a futile try to evict him, I let him stay and put him in charge of the Sims 2 story journal I’d created at the time. As I created more Sims 2 LiveJournals and got into LJ roleplay with Clockwork and his gang, RPD’s influence increased to involve all gaming and roleplay efforts. (Basically, he can be seen as the Inkwell characters’ boss, making sure they all get some form of playtime.)

Personality: RolePlay, despite entering my headspace as a rather annoyed ghost, is actually fairly calm and quiet when he’s in a good mood. He does have a rather large cynical side, especially about time travel and the problems it can cause. He can be very pushy about his area of muse influence as well, and tends to get on my back if he doesn’t think I’m doing enough. He’s probably the most effective one at poking me, simply because those ghostly fingers are ice cold. He’s also still a bit bitter about the circumstances around his death – this was alleviated somewhat when I finally got him a submuse.

Distinguishing Marks: RolePlayDoc looks like a Part I Doc for the most part. His clothing is a average pair of tan pants and the green shirt you can sort of see under Doc’s radiation suit in Part I. He also wears a special watch that doubles as a walkie-talkie. In ghost form, he’s a spectral green version of Doc that glows faintly and hovers over the floor. He also has large cuts on both his wrists and across his neck, though these he can and usually does hide.
RolePlayMarty looks like a Part I Marty. He wears the full Part I Marty ensemble complete with down vest, although his calculator watch has been replaced by a walkie-talkie one.

Special Abilities: RolePlayDoc came to the muse house as a ghost. He has the ability to walk through walls, manipulate objects, and turn the area he occupies ice cold. Some years after he arrived, I decided to give him a solid, living form as a Christmas present, and enlisted the other Docs’ help. We attempted to build a machine to bring him back to life, but that just caused chaos by morphing some of the other Docs and Martys into different forms (which ended up permanently altering one Doc and Marty – see HatterDoc’s entry). I finally inadvertently used my “authorial privilege” to bring him back to life by shouting in frustration, “Do I just say he’s alive again?!” He has the ability now to switch between the forms at will – though if he gets a case of the hiccups, he tends to switch back and forth randomly.
RolePlayMarty is a normal Marty.
8docs_n_1victor: (TeenDoc)
Muse Name: TeenDoc

Fandom: Back To The Future/“Girl Genius”

In Charge Of: The Let’s Get Sparky miniverse fanfics, PreTime/1955 fanfic

Submuses: Victorian-Dressed Marty
–>Note: TeenDoc originally arrived with his sister, Emily, and pre-Marty best friend Holly, as noted below. Victorian-Dressed Marty didn’t appear until long after the switch to a “Girl Genius”-based past, arriving with MartyFox. Soon after this, Emily and Holly returned to their own world – they’d never been strong submuses, and Emily in particular felt uncomfortable around all the weirdness.

Significant Other: ConstructClara Clayton (additional dropby: Jenniferstrike)

Origins: TeenDoc first appeared as the result of my Sims 2 playing. I’d made Doc’s family, and was working on getting a now young-adult Doc through college with his sister Emily and best friend Holly. The whole process had gotten me thinking about Doc in his teenage years quite a bit, and one day, TeenDoc, Emily, and Holly all just showed up in my room. Again, I was startled, but after a bit I figured I needed someone to cover the PreTime/1955 fanfic and kept them on.
However, shortly after this, I got very much into the webcomic “Girl Genius,” about mad scientists set in an age of steampunk. Naturally, I started imagining Doc into this world – but since the younger one was still prominent in my mind, it was a teenager Doc I was picturing. This ended up affecting TeenDoc to the point where his entire history changed, and he became one of the Girl Genius world’s Sparks. This also resulted in me writing a crossover fic, and thus he got another branch of fanfic to look after.

Personality: TeenDoc’s, obviously, acts more like a teenager. He’s a bit more brash and impulsive than the other Docs (and considering how they are sometimes, that’s saying something). Thanks to his Sparky nature and Victorian past, he’s also more mad science and steampunk-oriented – most of his inventions run off steam or clockwork. He’s generally a good guy, but of all the Docs, he’s also the most likely to cause an explosion or injure himself inventing. Especially since he sometimes invents in his sleep, a habit he can’t seem to shake.
TeenDoc’s unique because he has two sets of memories that isn’t a result of time travel. Although his “Girl Genius” past is the one everyone accepts as his “actual” past, he still recalls being just a normal teenage version of Doc.

Distinguishing Marks: TeenDoc is, naturally, the youngest of the Docs. He’s a 17 year old version of Doc, with curly blond hair and a very slightly skinnier physique. TeenDoc’s clothes are naturally Victorian in nature – he’s generally seen wearing brown pants, a white shirt, and a green vest. He also often has goggles and/or gloves on.
Victorian-Dressed Marty appears as more or less a Part I-style Marty. His clothes are also Victorian in nature – he wears a Victorianized version of his iconic Part I outfit (blue trousers and jacket, with a red vest and white button-up shirt).

Special Abilities: TeenDoc is a Spark, which means he’s a Mad Scientist to the extreme. He’s able to slightly warp the laws of nature and physics to get his inventions, which run off steam and clockwork, to work. This also means he’s actually stronger than a couple of the Docs, able to lift pretty heavy weights when in the Madness Place. Victorian-Dressed Marty is so far normal, but everyone’s a little suspicious he might be a latent Spark himself, given his love of anachronistic rock and roll.
8docs_n_1victor: (OckDoc)
Muse Name: OckDoc

Fandom: Back To The Future/Spider-Man 2

In Charge Of: The OckDocumentary universe fanfic, other Marvel/BTTF crossover fanfic, Fan Art

Submuses: VultureMarty, AlmanacJennifer

Significant Other: VenomClara Clayton

Origins: OckDoc was the result of another AIM conversation with Ael. Back when Spider-Man 2 first came out, we were both really into the fandom. We got to talking about how various characters would handle having sentient tentacles welded onto them. As per usual, she talked about Marty getting them, I talked about Doc. While Ael didn’t do anything with her idea, mine just kept bugging me. It got to the point where the multiple plot bunnies actually made DocWolf sick. So I caved and created OckDoc as a muse, and began designing a series around him. Since I was also scribbling the tentacles in the margins of things a lot, I also put him in charge of fan art.

Personality: OckDoc doesn’t have the temper that VampDoc2 has, but he does tend to get frustrated with me a lot. This is mostly because one of his areas of influence is not something I dabble in a lot – I’m absolutely terrible at drawing. Luckily for me, he accepts photo manipulations as fan art. After VampDoc2, he’s the one who will most often poke me to write or draw – mostly because he has four extra limbs to do it with.

Distinguishing Marks: OckDoc looks like a Part III Doc, only with less of a tan, being as he’s from an altered Trilogy universe. He looks plumper than the other Docs because of the harness when he’s fully dressed. The harness itself is stainless steel, and surrounds him in a tight ring. There’s a metal spine on the back, which is partially melted into and fused with OckDoc’s own spine. Extending from the metal harness are four stainless steel tentacles, with three-pronged claws that fold up into a pyramidal shape. The tentacles are covered in more detail below. OckDoc’s clothes tend toward those seen in the trilogy, though he never wears an undershirt. He usually pairs them with a long black coat like VampDoc2's. Everything has been modified to accommodate the tentacles and their harness, of course.
VultureMarty looks like a Part III-type Marty. He generally wears green shirts to distinguish himself from the other Martys. He’s also rarely seen without the green wing harness OckDoc built him as a gift – which, amusingly, means he’s actually rarely seen on the ground. AlmanacJennifer looks like a Part I Jennifer. Her clothing choices tend toward shades of pink or green.

Special Abilities: OckDoc has a set of sentient tentacles attached to his back, much like the movie version of Doc Ock from Spider-Man 2. Said tentacles are named: Upper Left, Jules; Upper Right, Verne; Lower Left, Albert; Lower Right, Tommy. They’re very strong, capable of carrying Doc and a couple of passengers up walls and traveling quite fast across any distance. Each one has its own inner attachment – Jules has special equipment to tap into power sources; Verne has smaller inner pincers for more delicate object handling; Albert has a blade for self defense; and Tommy has a smaller tentacle that can act like a lasso. Each one also has a separate personality quirk – Jules is more analytical, Verne more artsy, Albert more pessimistic, and Tommy more childlike. All together, they’re rather affectionate, but quick to anger when it comes to the defense of their ‘father.’
VultureMarty has the wing harness OckDoc built him, which consists of two large green wings attached to a metal harness and pair of shoulder straps. The shoulder straps have the control pad built into them. Thus, VultureMarty is able to fly.
AlmanacJennifer is completely normal.
8docs_n_1victor: (DocWolf)
Muse Name: DocWolf

Fandom: Back To The Future

In Charge Of: Plotbunny control

Submuses: MartyFox
–>Note: DocWolf actually didn’t have a submuse for a while. Instead, he hung out with Clock-killer Fox (mentioned below). Eventually, MartyFox himself decided it was time to show up, and came by with Victorian-Dressed Marty. (I didn’t put up a fight.)

Significant Other: GypsyFox (additional dropby: JenniferCat, MartyFox’s girlfriend)

Origins: DocWolf appeared some years after the original three, as the result of an AIM conversation I had with my friend Ael. She has a Marty muse who’s a foxmorph (I believe he’s called Clock-killer Fox), and during the conversation, I joked about getting my own version who was Doc in humanoid wolf form. Not five seconds after I said that, he appeared in the headspace (right behind my chair, no less). Although I was definitely surprised, I decided to keep him on to help keep my wild ideas under control.

Personality: Like NoTrilDoc, DocWolf is on the calmer side, content to stay in the background for the most part and hunt plotbunnies. He also likes to wrestle and play games with some of the other muses – and yes, he will play fetch if you ask politely. He does have a berserk button, though – he HATES being called a werewolf. As he puts it, he’s in wolf form all the time, so people should know better than to assume. Considering he has a nasty set of jaws, it’s advisable not to press said button.

Distinguishing Marks: DocWolf, as stated, is a humanoid wolf. Though he looks mostly like a white wolf facially and fur-wise, he also has Doc’s distinctive hairstyle and brown eyes and paw-like hands. He also walks upright (though he can switch to all fours when hunting/running). DocWolf’s clothing extends to just a pair of tan cargo pants, modified with a opening for the tail. Being as he’s covered with fur, he doesn’t really need clothes, except to protect a bit of his modesty.
MartyFox is a humanoid fox. He’s more on the brownish side than red fur-wise, and is pretty much solid-colored, except for a white tip on his tail. He has Marty’s brown hair and blue eyes, and paw-like hands. He too walks upright usually. He wears the red shirt and jeans Marty’s most known for, modified to fit his body structure.

Special Abilities: Both DocWolf and MartyFox have some various advantages from being animal-morphs. Both can run very fast and lift a good amount of weight. DocWolf’s stronger but slower, while MartyFox is weaker but faster.
8docs_n_1victor: (VampDoc2)
Muse Name: VampDoc2

Fandom: Back To The Future

In Charge Of: The Night and Day universe fanfic, Trilogy fanfic, any other fanfic not otherwise claimed

Submuses: VampMarty, VampJennifer

Significant Other: Josephine “Josie” Grey

Origins: VampDoc2 is my third muse, being the third to have his series written and published. He came about after I decided to try a “vampire Doc” story in Part II’s Hell Valley rather than my usual venue. He’s the last of the original three Docs who appeared in my first LiveJournal entry.

Personality: Unlike his previous two counterparts, VampDoc2 is rather more hot-headed – a side effect of spending a good few years in an asylum under false pretenses. He’s the one most responsible for trying to get my ass into gear on fanfic. Like VampDoc, he’s not expecting to see any more stories in his personal series, so he focuses on any “unclaimed” fanfic I have. This means he sometimes intrudes into other muses’ territories, but nobody seems to mind.

Distinguishing Marks: Ironically, VampDoc2 looks more like a Part I Doc than NoTrilDoc or VampDoc, despite being from Part II. He also has a long, thin vertical scar on his left cheek, a result of an early escape attempt from Southdale. His clothing choices are rather more subdued than any of his counterparts, and he frequently wears the long black coat Doc’s seen wearing in Part II during the Hell Valley scenes. Like VampDoc, when in vampire form, his eyes turn a lighter brown and glow slightly, and his fangs extend.
VampMarty looks more or less like his Part II counterpart, if a little rougher around the edges from actually living in Hell Valley. His clothing choices are generally darker-colored, though he’s yet to actually wear black, and a jean jacket over everything. In vampire mode, his eyes turn very bright blue. VampJennifer looks like her Part I self, although, again, rougher around the edges. She’s got a very small scar at the right corner of her mouth, a remnant of her times on the street. Her clothes tend toward dark blues and purples. In vampire mode, her eyes turn light brown.

Special Abilities: VampDoc2 is also a vampire, and can do all the things VampDoc can – drink, blood, read minds, heal quickly, and fly. VampMarty and VampJennifer are similarly blessed. VampDoc2 and VampMarty have the special empathetic connection VampDoc and Marty2 have, which was created before VampMarty was turned. VampJennifer has this connection with Josie, VampDoc2's drop-in girlfriend.
8docs_n_1victor: (VampDoc)
Muse Name: VampDoc

Fandom: Back To The Future

In Charge Of: The Vampire Doc Chronicles universe fanfic

Submuses: Marty2, Jennifer2
–>Note: VampDoc originally didn’t have submuses. Instead, he shared NoTril’s Marty and Jennifer. Eventually I realized this was kind of unfair to VampDoc and gave him a proper Marty and Jennifer of his own.

Significant Other: Mysteria “Mystie” Jones

Origins: VampDoc is my second muse – his Vampire Doc Chronicles were the first stories I ever published on FanFiction.net. He’s also one of the original three Docs who first appeared in my LiveJournal. Even though I’ve pretty much stopped writing for his particular series, he’s still around.

Personality: VampDoc is, like NoTril, rather laid back, though he’s got a bit more of a temper than his counterpart. When provoked, he can be rather vicious. Though he’s a little sad I’ve pretty much stopped writing his series, he sticks around to help with editing the earlier stories and giving VampDoc2 a hand with his duties.

Distinguishing Marks: Like NoTril, VampDoc looks like a Part II Doc because of a rejuv. He and NoTril are the ones most likely to be mistaken for each other, so they make sure to dress differently. Specifically, VampDoc tends to try and wear red shirts, either solid-colored or patterned. When in vampire mode, VampDoc’s eyes turn a lighter brown and glow slightly, and his fangs extend.
Marty2 and Jennifer2 both look like Part I Marty and Jennifer. Marty2's shirts are usually yellow-based to distinguish him from Marty, while Jennifer2 wears the jeans and black vest she’s seen in at the very beginning of Part I.

Special Abilities: VampDoc’s a vampire, naturally. What this means in my world is that, apart from the usual fangs and blood-drinking, he can also read minds, heal much more quickly, and fly with a pair of human-sized bat wings. Marty2 happens to be linked to him via a special bond that happens when a vampire and a human drink each other’s blood. It functions like NoTrilDoc’s and NoTrilMarty’s – Marty2 can read VampDoc’s mind, and each can feel what the other is feeling in times of stress/danger. Jennifer2 is bonded to VampDoc’s drop-in girlfriend, Mystie.
8docs_n_1victor: (NonTrilogy Doc)
Muse Name: Doc/NoTrilDoc

Fandom: Back To The Future

In Charge Of: The NonTrilogy universe fanfic

Submuses: Marty/NoTrilMarty, Jennifer/NoTrilJennifer

Significant Other: Gypsy Robinson

Origins: Doc is pretty much officially my first muse – the NonTrilogy universe was the first one I wrote for. He was one of the original three Docs who first appeared when I made my LiveJournal back in 2003. (Holy crap!) He’s been around ever since.

Personality: Being pretty much the oldest of the Docs, NoTrilDoc has seniority over them all. He’s pretty laid-back compared to some of the others, having been around me long enough to know that – well, I’m kind of crazy, and I’m not likely to change. He’s the most likely to get amused rather than annoyed at any of my fangirly antics. He’s usually just called “Doc” in deference to his “first of them all” status, but I added the “NoTril” label for when he visits the Inkwell. (It’s only fair to Clockwork that he get called “Doc” on his own turf.)

Distinguishing Marks: Despite being from a universe where the sequels never happened, NoTrilDoc has had a rejuvenation, so he looks more like a Part II Doc. He’s mostly distinguished by his clothing, which tends toward the same brightly-patterned Hawaiian-style shirts he wore in the trilogy. He’s most often seen in the “trains” one.
As for the submuses, Marty and Jennifer both look like their Part I selves. Marty’s most often in his red T-shirt/jeans combo, Jennifer in the blue vest, white blouse, and flowered pants.

Special Abilities: NoTrilDoc is pretty much normal, but he shares an interesting psychic link with Marty – they can read each other’s minds, and (when particularly stressed or scared) even feel what the other’s feeling. Jennifer is completely normal.
8docs_n_1victor: (Default)
Hello, we're Victoria's -- aka [livejournal.com profile] docsgirl's -- various muses. We're the ones in charge of all the various ideas she comes up with, and getting them implemented. This is a harder job than you think.

We're going to be doing short posts detailing our origins and such here, but for now we thought we'd give you an idea of where we reside. We all live in what is called "The Muse House," a large mansion in Vicky's head just down the road from the Inkwell Bar. The dimensions and layout are near-impossible to describe, as Vic sometimes doesn't have the best memory about where everything is. (She tried to build the house in Sims once, but that was a LONG time ago, and it was never completed.) There are, however, a few constants:
*The basement serves as a laboratory for all the Docs
*The attic is Victor's room
*The rest of us all have our own rooms in the body of the house (Docs have bigger rooms, with submuses getting smaller attached rooms)
*Vicky's room is in the middle of the house, and looks identical to her real-life room
*We have a large backyard complete with a pool
*There are ALWAYS enough bathrooms for everyone

You can also find plenty of information about us on our Muse Biography page on our author's website, Back To The Vampire. Be a bit wary, though, some of the information is out of date.

Anyway, expect to see more posts about each of us in detail coming up very soon. We hope you enjoy them.
